About Dale A. Garratt

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dale taught English at the secondary and university levels in California, Connecticut and his home state of New Mexico. He lived for several years on the East Coast, and got his undergraduate and master’s degrees in New York. He taught in South Korea for eight years, working with students from the secondary to graduate school levels. He earned a PhD in Language, Literacy and Sociocultural Studies at the University of New Mexico. Dale and his wife, Joy, reside in Albuquerque.
